White House Life Group Prayers and Praises

Debbie had a praise report. The Discovery Men’s Group took donations for a floral arrangement in memory of Dan. They gathered enough to pay for the arrangement as well as an additional $327.00 to be donated to the City of Hope. Brian presented Debbie with the check made out to, The City of Hope.

Please keep Debbie, Danny and Ashley in your prayers as they face challenges daily in learning to adjust to the remainder of their temporary life here on earth.
Isaiah 58:11
The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

Prayer is requested for Tina’s brother and sister-in-law, in Northern California and their 4-year-old son Hunter. They will be driving down on Monday to see a Doctor who has helped Jenny McCarthy’s son, who also has autism. Father we ask that the trip be blessed and bring fruitful results. Thank you for providing these new ways for Hunter. We ask that you would give them a smooth trip, knowing the challenges of a long car drive with an autistic child may be difficult, but we thank you in advance for the peace you will bring to them and the love and bonding they will experience on this trip. Please make clear the paths that they are to take and the paths that they are not to take. We pray that you would give them clear confirmation that they are on the right track. If not, we ask that you would renew their patience and hope, especially in you and your provisions for them.
Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

Anneke and Joey request provision from the Lord God Jehovah Jireh for Anneke to be patient and discerning Your will when it comes to a job, knowing that You are the God who provides. Keep Joey in your prayers for healing of body, mind and spirit.
Genesis 22:14
So Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided.”
John 6:2
and a great crowd of people followed him because they saw the signs he had performed by healing the sick.

Nancy asked that we keep her and her team at work in prayer as they face numerous employees that will no longer be with the team. Pray that a spirit of unity and not division will work it’s way through the team. That they would focus on helping each other to work hard and get their jobs done and to not succumb to the gossip that may be amongst them. We pray especially for Nancy as the stress of these work situations combined with physical pain from her knee can at times be unbearable. We pray that the shots she is receiving in her knee would be healing and productive. Father God Nancy is concerned about her health and we ask that you would continue to help her on her path to wellness.
Job 2:11
When Job’s three friends, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite, heard about all the troubles that had come upon him, they set out from their homes and met together by agreement to go and sympathize with him and comfort him.

Brian asked that we pray for him to learn to balance the challenges of a tremendous workload and a beautiful life with Tina and his friends and church. God we know how easy it is for someone so dedicated to all areas of their lives to prioritize all the daily and weekly responsibilities. Brian is dedicated to everything he touches, so we know it isn’t easy to find the time to fit everything in and give each responsibility the precision and detail he desires to give. We pray that Brian will stop, pray, listen and refocus his eyes on YOU Lord, after which all other things will fall into place. Help him to discern Your priorities Lord, over the world’s priorities. You created Brian, You know how committed to his responsibilities he is, help him to balance that dedication with You at the head of his days always. We thank you in advance that You keep Brian as the apple of Your eye and we pray that Brian would keep YOU Lord as the apple of his eye.
Psalm 17:8
Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings
Exodus 15:2
“The LORD is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

We ask Lord that you bring healing to Doug’s ears. That he would seek the medical advice that he needs and that You Lord God would provide answers to what is happening to him. Thank you for his beautiful wife Caroline who is there to provide love and care to him.
As we prayed for Brian, we pray also for Caroline to balance the challenges in her life with Doug as a wife, with her children as a mother and with her job as a dedicated employee. We pray for a renewed sense of energy in body, mind and spirit. If there is any medical reason for her lack of energy, we pray that you would bring that to light as quickly as possible so that it may be addressed. We know that as a newly wed couple, Doug and Caroline have been under tremendous amounts of stress in the past month or so. Please continue to bless them as they honor you and rely on you for their strength. Let all the struggles prove to only bring them closer to You Lord God and closer to each other. Unite them as one, to lean on each other, protect and care for each other using the gifts that you have given each one of them. Turn their eyes upon you Jesus.
Deuteronomy 4:37
Because he loved your ancestors and chose their descendants after them, he brought you out of Egypt by his Presence and his great strength
Colossians 1:29
To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.

George and Dana e-mailed to ask for traveling mercies. Bless their family and home to be in order as they have left it.
Genesis 28:15
I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”

Father God we lift up to You, the cries of our hearts. Bless our life group to be vessels for You, to do Your work here on earth for the time you have given us. Help to keep us all focused on You and Your Son Christ Jesus. Thank you for listening to our prayers and hearing us. We praise you and honor you and thank you, in the name of your precious Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Deuteronomy 4:7
What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the LORD our God is near us whenever we pray to him?

  1. Anneke,
    Standing ovation!
I so appreciate the heart and energy you put into this blog. I prayed right along with you as I was reading through the prayer requests, encouraged by your insights and lifted by the scripture references. Thank you for volunteering to do this and for being so sensitive and caring in your handling of each of our prayer requests. I am so thankful for you!
God bless you in a mighty fashion, beyond anything you can imagine!
    Love, Tina
